JUNIPER ENGINEERING

Juniper Engineering Services: EX, MX, QFX & SRX

Specialist Juniper pre-staging, commissioning, troubleshooting and decommissioning, informed by resident engineer experience and escalation leadership across a large defence network estate.

Experience behind the engineering

Juniper services across the network lifecycle

Pre-staging & readiness

Inventory hardware and optics, agree a Junos release and configuration baseline, prepare device settings and lab validation, and document equipment before deployment.

Commissioning & acceptance

Install, configure and validate the agreed network design. Check interfaces, routing, resilience and management access against customer acceptance criteria.

Migrations & controlled change

Plan dependencies, implementation steps and rollback. Support infrastructure refreshes and scheduled changes with checks before and after the work.

Troubleshooting & escalation

Investigate faults across Junos routing, switching and security environments. Capture evidence, isolate the problem and work with customer teams and vendor support where required.

Onsite engineering & hardware

Provide rack-and-stack, console access, patching, optics checks and planned component replacement, with site records and a clear handover.

Secure decommissioning

Check dependencies, obtain shutdown approval, remove devices and account for configurations, credentials and storage media before reuse, resale or recycling.

Switching, routing, fabrics and security

Founder-led Juniper expertise

Tosin Otuniyi, Founder and Network and Security Architect, brings hands-on Juniper engineering experience from telecommunications, major events and UK defence infrastructure.

His background includes working for Juniper in Italy as a Resident Engineer on the Telecom Italia account, and a Resident Engineer assignment supporting the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.

He also spent around nine years at Fujitsu in technical leadership and escalation management, with responsibility for an estate of more than 7,000 Juniper devices across the Ministry of Defence account.

That experience informs Compritech’s approach to pre-staging, commissioning, troubleshooting, controlled change and secure network decommissioning.

A clear scope and a technical handover

Every project starts with the exact platform, software release, configuration, dependencies and access requirements. We agree the implementation and rollback steps, then record the validation results and outstanding actions.

For retired devices, configuration removal and factory reset are assessed separately from verified storage sanitisation. The method and evidence depend on the hardware, media, intended outcome and customer requirements.

Plan your Juniper project

Talk to an engineer who understands the equipment.

Send your device models, site location, Junos version, timescale and the work required. We will agree the technical scope, access arrangements and completion criteria with you.
