Juniper QFX Series switches: Engineering & Decommissioning

Deploy and retire Juniper QFX infrastructure with attention to fabric dependencies, physical connectivity and validation. Compritech supports pre-staging, commissioning, hardware changes and decommissioning for data centre switching projects.

Juniper QFX services

Fabric pre-staging

Agree port maps, breakout settings, optics and the software baseline. Prepare the approved underlay and overlay configuration and define acceptance checks.

Commission & test

Validate physical links and routing adjacency. Check EVPN-VXLAN, MTU, endpoint reachability and redundancy where supported and included in the customer design.

Controlled fabric removal

Review attached servers, peer links, routing and overlay dependencies before withdrawing a switch. Reconcile hardware and sanitise device storage before the agreed reuse or disposal route.

QFX platforms and model catalogue

Discuss commissioning, support, migration or decommissioning for the following QFX platforms. The catalogue includes both newer and legacy equipment; the exact work is scoped against your model, software release and support status.

Documented model variants

Engineering experience you can discuss directly

Before your QFX project

Send your hardware models, Junos release, device quantity, site location and required outcome. For deployment, include the approved design and acceptance criteria. For retirement, include the dependencies, change approval requirements and desired asset outcome.

Juniper product and hardware references

Model references were checked against Juniper product comparisons and hardware documentation on 9 October 2026. Product availability and support dates change; check the exact model before selecting a deployment or retirement plan.

Plan your Juniper QFX project

Talk to an engineer who understands the equipment.

Send your device models, site location, Junos version, timescale and the work required. We will agree the technical scope, access arrangements and completion criteria with you.
