Installation readiness
Review the equipment list, rack layout, mounting kits, device weight, airflow and power requirements. Confirm site access, delivery arrangements, approved design and any lifting equipment needed for larger chassis.
JUNIPER INSTALLATION
Compritech provides Juniper installation services across the UK, including rack and stack, cabling, configuration and commissioning for EX switches, MX routers, QFX switches and SRX firewalls.
A new office, equipment refresh or data centre expansion needs more than devices mounted in a rack. We agree the physical installation, configuration responsibilities, change window and acceptance checks before attending site. You can engage Compritech for physical installation only or include configuration and commissioning within the agreed scope.

Mount equipment using suitable hardware, connect approved power feeds, install compatible optics, patch copper and fibre links and label connections. Provide console access and record device and port details.
Apply the approved configuration and agreed software baseline. Test management access and the relevant switching, routing, security and resilience functions against customer acceptance criteria.
Discuss installation of the physical EX, MX, QFX and SRX platforms in our existing catalogues. The lists include legacy models; we confirm the exact variant, software, licensing, skills and handling arrangements before accepting the work. A listed model does not imply current vendor support, stock availability or suitability for a new deployment.
Access, distribution and core switching for offices and campus networks. Installation can cover rack mounting, uplinks and PoE checks. Approved configuration work can include VLANs, link aggregation and Virtual Chassis where supported.
Rack and power readiness, compatible optics, circuit connections and management access. Commissioning can include approved interface settings, routing policies, routing adjacencies and resilience checks.
Top-of-rack, leaf and spine installation with airflow checks, fibre patching and server connectivity validation. Fabric configuration, including EVPN-VXLAN where supported, is agreed against your approved design.
Physical installation and interface connections, followed by approved zones, policies, NAT and VPN configuration where included. Chassis clustering and failover testing depend on the model and agreed design.
We check compatibility of transceivers, cables, power supplies, fans and field-replaceable modules against the chosen platform. Installation planning accounts for rack depth, airflow direction, grounding requirements and the manufacturer's handling procedures.
The customer provides or arranges suitable power feeds and site facilities. Electrical alterations require appropriately qualified personnel and are separately arranged. Software downloads, licences and vendor support depend on the relevant entitlements.
For replacement work, we identify service dependencies, agree configuration backups and rollback steps, and schedule the change with your team. Completion includes agreed validation results, asset and patching records, and a handover documenting outstanding actions. Any performance or resilience testing is defined in the project scope.
Yes, subject to checking the exact equipment, condition, compatibility, mounting hardware and required scope. Tell us whether devices are new, previously used or being relocated.
Yes. We can agree rack mounting, patching, labelling and console access while your own team handles configuration remotely. Responsibilities and completion checks are agreed before the visit.
Send your preferred dates and access hours. We confirm engineer availability, prerequisites and change arrangements before booking. Out-of-hours work is agreed per project.
For troubleshooting, upgrades, component work and equipment retirement, explore our Juniper hardware specialist services. Compritech provides independent engineering services; manufacturer references do not imply an authorised partnership.
Send your device models, quantities, site postcode, rack and power details, required configuration work and preferred installation window. We will agree the technical scope, access arrangements and completion criteria with you.
